Following last year’s success, Discovery Italia has once again entrusted itself to the agency to create the app for the second edition of the talent show Bake Off Italia –Dolci in forno, presented by Benedetta Parodi, with the aid of two judges Clelia d’Onofrio and Ernst Knam.
The aspiring bakers can upload and share photos of their cakes on Bakestagram, are encouraged to participate in the culinary challenges launched in every episode, can consult the recipes, discover more on the contestants of the new edition and watch the episodes again directly from the app. And that's not all: on Bakestagram, the community of Italian bakers, users can share photos and recipes, exchange likes and comments and each week they have the opportunity to take part in the special Sweet Photo classification: the 10 sweets most appreciated by the Community.
The Connect section also presents novelties: from message centre, through which users can exchange messages, cooking advice and recipes, it also becomes a social aggregator which gathers photos and comments shared on Twitter with the hashtag#bakeoffitalia. The useful tools for a baker must include Fette Perfette (Perfect Slices): thanks to the camera it will be possible to cut the cake and have perfect slices every time.
The surprises don’t end here! Another delicious novelty of the app is B.Q., acronym for Bakery Quotient, the universal quality indicator of a true baker: the more the user interacts with the app. the higher their B.Q. will be!
